Dogs are wildcards. While an absolute joy to work with, they tend to bring a chaotic energy to the studio. And, we love them for it!
While we typically start every session with a shot list of more formal poses. We find the best way to photograph dogs with their families is to simply get out of their way and lend them room to play.
Working in a massive updated historic cotton duck mill with original hardwood floors, 20' tall ceilings, and a well lit ensuite restroom / changing area, our studio lends plenty of space to do exactly that -- giving your family and your favorite furbaby an unrushed opportunity for those joyful moments to develop in real time.
