Photos of Street Dogs Playing Together With A Plastic Dish

We had a chance to visit Valparaíso, Chile. For those unfamiliar Valparaíso, it’s an exceptionally vibrant port side city in Central Chile, roughly an hour and half drive from Santiago. If you’re into street art, Valparaíso is an absolutely must see destination, as much, if not most of Valparaíso is covered in colorful murals and stunning graffiti. And like much of the rest of Chile, Valparaíso is well known for their large population of street dogs. Valparaíso is well known for […]

We love photographing dogs, all dogs, regardless of their breed. That all said, we have to admit that some breeds, for a multitude of reasons, do tend to ham it up more than others. […]

We Are Dogs Too: The Struggles of the Small Toy Breed

Small dogs have been around for quite some time and we can’t really blame people for loving them so much. Small dog breeds come in different breeds and they don’t have a specific weight category to classify them otherwise but they are not that difficult to spot. These dogs can even weigh as low as 2 pounds and yes, that would be a fully grown small dog. When we think of small dogs, we would usually think of lapdogs but […]

Flash Photography: is it safe to use flash when photographing my dog?

Yes, it is safe to use a flash when photographing a dog. The vast majority of dogs are not reactive at all to flash photography. They might be surprised by the sound or sudden brightness, but if introduced properly, dogs tend to ignore flashes. And, if they don’t ignore the flash completely, they treat it as a minor annoyance or a point of confusion. Of course, if your dog does present aggressive or fearful body language when exposed to a […]
